Kids can fly free when their flight is booked before May 11th, and their journey is before September 30th. It is only for Stockholm, Copenhagen, Munich and and Frankfurt… and the origin airport must be Spanish.

The sunny Canary island of Fuerteventura has become a popular place for emigrating to in recent years thanks to year round fantastic weather and an abundance of sandy beaches and it offers a fantastic base to settle down outside of greyer, colder climes.  It offers over 150 different shoreline spots, a notoriously relaxed atmosphere, friendly resorts and plenty of activities to keep anyone occupied.

Unlike other  destinations in the region, Fuerteventura has remained virtually unchanged in the past 20-30 years. Flights to Fuerteventura

Cheaper deals that often include hotel accommodation, car rentals, all inclusive services and access to local attractions can be found on various travel agent websites. Generally speaking, the earlier in advance the booking is made, the cheaper it will be and the more options will be available in terms of accommodation and flights. These are ideal for when friends and family come to visit, and there’s not quite enough room in your new home (or you simply don’t want them squeezing in, of course!)

Upon arrival at the airport you will find that transport around the island is easy and readily available. Buses and ferries are cheap, timely and integrate well with each other to make travelling easier. If you are looking for a quiet place to relax and unwind you will surely find it here.  Even the airport shuts down after dark – no night time flights ensures the peace and quiet that Fuerteventura is well known for.

The island offers a wide range of water sport activities – from windsurfing to jet skiing. The winds shape the island activities today as much as they have shaped the dunes and lagoons of the island for thousands of years. The central points on the island are Corralejo and Caleta de Fusta, an up and coming resort geared towards families. Caleta is an ideal base for accessing the island and is midway between the north and south. As you go from Caleta to Corralejo you will find a more bustling atmosphere and more of a holiday feel along with changing landscapes of immense dunes and breathtaking island views.

Fuerteventura is filled with charming little villages such as El Cotillo, Forteleza del Toston and Betancuria. In between you will be able to explore surfing havens, historical sites, shipwrecks and plenty of space to relax and enjoy the laid back atmosphere. No matter how long you live in fuerteventura, there is always something new to discover.
